This Project consisted of manufacturing and erecting a 3 room lunch hut built in the middle of a grouse moor, approximately 4 miles from any public road. The only means of accessing the site was by 4 wheel drive vehicle. We also had to hire a helicopter to transport the majority of the material to the site. The Lunch Hut had one main living/dining area, a small kitchen and a W.C. The internal finish to the building was specially run 65mm x 20mm Siberian Larch Tounge and Groove lining boards. The exterior finish of the building was timber clad with 150mm x 22mm Siberian larch boards with a 38mm x 45mm cover strip over every joint. There was a septic tank installed and filter system created to accommodate the waste from the W.C and kitchen sink.
